Quick Start Guide
Thank you for your purchase of the Unger HiFlo™ DI100 water system.
This guide will help you get setup and using your system right away.
1. Start-up
The resin vessel is supposed to be used for water applications only. The cartridge
is meant to be used with resin. It may also be used with gravel or other water
filtering media. It comes with an internal distribution system. This makes filling
the vessel much easier and insures high resin recovery due to uniform flow
through the cartridge.

The filter is delieverd ready-to-use, including resin filled in.
2. Operation
Connect a hose with standard connector with the water feed adapter (male) and the
hose from your water-fed-pole at the outlet connector (female).
Flow direction is marked with an arrow on the distribution head.
Open feed water supply and rinse resin for min. 3 minutes
(rinsing water volume around 3 x resin volume). After rinsing check
whether drain water is already clear (with Unger TDS-metre #ROTDS),
if not keep on rinsing until product water is clear.
Check connection tubes and adapter head for leakages.
(Remark: The HiFlo™ Soap Dispenser (#HCD25) can be switched between the output
side, to remove heavy dirt. It is recommended to use „Unger‘s Liquid“ soap to achieve
streak-free cleaning.)
