3. Test the battery for charge, see picture below.
• Battery must be over 3.5 volts to operate laser.
• A new battery is approx. 4.4 to 4.6 volts
4. Test laser for illumination. See picture below.
• Place battery in laser with the flat side (+) up.
• Touch top of battery and side of the laser with a tweezers or bent paper
clip. If the laser lights the laser is in good condition. If it will not light the
laser is defective.
