Guarantee – notes

Guarantee: Independent of warranties for defects, Züco
grants a 5-year gurantee in the case of normal use at 8 hours
a day. If used for longer periods of time, the Guarantee period
shortens accordingly. Product parts which are subject to
general wear and defects caused by improper use, improper
treatment, extreme climatic conditions, improper tampering,
materials placed on the chair or deviations from the standard
designs as requested by the customer are exempt from the
guarantee.

Castors: hard castors are fitted as standard for soft floors.
Soft castors (grey tread) are required for hard floors. The user
may change the castors himself/herself if necessary.

Maintenance: the chair is maintenance-free if used in the
correct manner. We recommend that you occasionally adjust
the seat height.

Cleaning: please do not use any aggressive cleaners or che-
mical cleaning agents to clean the surfaces of the chair and
the upholstery.

Gas lifts: only trained specialists may work on the gas pres-
sure lifts. There is a considerable risk of injury if improper work
is carried out.

To increase the seat depth: Put your

weight on the seat, pull out the left-

hand lever at the front of the seat

and push the seat forwards.

infinite seatheight

adjustment:

To raise the seat: Take your weight

off the seat, pull the right-hand lever

at the front of the seat upwards and

the seat will rise.

To lower the seat: Put your weight

on the seat, pull the right-hand lever

at the front upwards and the seat

will lower.

Back rest tension

adjustment:

You can alter the backrest tension to

suit your own body weight. Turning

the wheel (at the front, bottom right)

clockwise (+) increases the back rest

tension. Turning the wheel anticlock-

wise (-) reduces the back rest tensi-

on. The back rest tension can be set

between 45 and 120 kg.

synchronised mechanism:

With the lever at the front left under

the seat, you can choose between

the synchronised setting and setting

the seat and backrest in any desired

position. If the lever is in the horizon-

tal position or pushed downwards

and you put your weight against

the backrest, the Cuboflex will syn-

chronously follow your movements.

Pulling it into the uppermost posi-

tion will lock the Cuboflex in your

chosen position. Pushing the lever

into the bottom position and putting

your weight against the backrest at

the same time will activate the for-

ward seat tilt. To deactivate the seat

tilt again, put your weight against

the backrest and move the lever into

the middle position.

Heightadjustable backrest:

The backrest height can be adju-

sted using the Easy-Touch-System.

To do so, hold the backrest at the

sides and adjust it to the desired

height by pushing gently upwards.

The backrest has an 8 cm adjust-

ment range. When you are sitting

up straight, the curved part of the

backrest cushion should ideally be in

your lumbar region.

Multifunctional arm rests

(height/width):

You can adjust the height (maximum

range of adjustment 110 mm) by

pressing the button under the arm-

rest. You can also adjust the width

between the arm rests to create a

larger seat area by releasing the

black lever under the seat on each

arm rest.
