MRPT89ACO: #35061
SPECIFICATIONS
Model Number:
MRPT89ACO
Description:
Designed for use with a crane or other hoisting equipment, the MRPT89ACO lifters
employ vacuum to hold a load for lifting, and they provide manual 360° rotation and
powered 90° tilt movements for load manipulation.
Power Source:
See serial number plate for specific AC voltage, frequency and amperage.
Vacuum Pads:
Eight 9" [23 cm] nominal diameter (Model VPFS9), standard rubber, spring-mounted
(¼" [7 mm] travel), with #60 filter screen)
Maximum Pad Spread:
29¼" x 59¼" [740 x 1502 mm] (to outer edges, w/standard pad frame―see Options)
Load Capacity:
(rated at 16" Hg [-54 kPa] on clean, smooth, nonporous flat surfaces
1
)
Per-Pad:
125 lbs [57 kg]
Maximum:
1000 lbs [455 kg]
Lifter Weight:
367 lbs [167 kg] (does not include pad frame options; see serial label for weight
including these options, when applicable)
Rotation Capability:
Manual, 360°, with automatic locking at each ¼ revolution (when desired)
Tilt Capability:
2
Powered, 90°, with adjustable electronic speed controller; Maximum speed = approx. 9
seconds per tilt travel in one direction; Maximum duty = 360 tilts per hour
Vacuum Pump:
Diaphragm type, 3 SCFM [85 liters/minute] nominal airflow
or
Rotary vane type, 4 SCFM [113 liters/minute] nominal airflow
Vacuum Reserve Tank:
Vacuum reservoir helps prevent immediate vacuum loss in case of power failure.
Vacuum Gauge:
Dial gauge indicates current vacuum level in positive inches of Hg and negative kPa.
Vacuum Lift Light:
Green light is energized whenever vacuum level is sufficient for lifting maximum load
weight (higher than 16" [-54 kPa]).
Options:
Model LB1ETO - High-Duty Tilt with Speed Control. This option dramatically increases
tilt duty and gives the operator precise control over tilt speed, as well as reducing apply
and release times for the lifter.
Available
with various pad frame options, including CF1IFO, CF2EAO and CF3TAO. See
ASSEMBLY: P

PTIONS
for alternative Pad Spread dimensions. See separate
instructions about these and other options.
Operating Elevation:
Maximum = 10,000 feet [3048 meters]
Operating Temperatures: 32° to 100° F [0° to 38° C]
Service Life:
This lifter is designed to have a service life of at least 20,000 lifting cycles, when used
and maintained as intended. Vacuum pads, filter elements and other wear-out items
are excluded; see MAINTENANCE and REPLACEMENT PARTS LIST for more information.
For the D
ISPOSAL OF THE
L
IFTER
after its service life, see INTENDED USE.
ASME Standard BTH-1:
Design Category "B", Service Class "0" (see www.powrgrip.com for more information)
Wiring Diagram:
The following wiring diagrams are attached for reference in servicing the lifter or
trouble-shooting a deficiency:
