1. Flip the quick-release throw lever clockwise and remove the
plate from the Summit car window mount
head.
2. Thread the quick-release plate onto the
tripod adapter of the optic.
3. Place the optic in the car window mount
head and fl ip the throw lever counter-
clockwise to secure the quick-release plate.
The Summit ™ car window mount features a ball head that is easy to
adjust and a quick-release plate for convenient mounting of optics.

The Summit car window mount shares the
same quick-release plate as our popular
Vortex Summit SS tripod.
Attach the Summit car window mount’s window clamp over the window pane
of your vehicle. Then, adjust the ball head to change the angle of view:

1. Turn the positioning lever
counter-clockwise to loosen the
ball head.
2. Turn the positioning lever
clockwise to lock the ball head
in place.
