Q is the button for changing the Fahrenheit/Celsius scale. The original setting is Fahrenheit. Pressing

Q one time will change the display to Celsius. Press one more time and the display will revert to

Fahrenheit. When the temperature display shows Celsius, N is lit; when the display shows Fahrenheit,

M is lit.

R is the power switch. When the power cord is connected, press R and the appliance will start

working. Pressing R again will cause the appliance to stop working; the display, fan and compressor

will all turn off. When the machine is turned off in this way (with power cord still connected), the

temperature setting will not change when R is pressed again to turn the unit on. When the power cord

is disconnected or the power is otherwise cut off, the unit will return to its original setting of 12ºC when

R is pressed. If the appliance has been off for less than 5 minutes, the compressor will not restart at

once when R is pressed. This behavior is built into the control system to protect the compressor.

NOTE:

If the unit is unplugged or turned off, or if there has been a power failure, you must wait 3 to 5

minutes before restarting the unit. If you attempt to restart before this time delay, the appliance will

not start.

When you use the appliance for the first time, or restart it after it has been shut off for a long time,

there could be a few degrees variance between the temperature you select and the one indicated

on the display. This is normal and due to the length of inactivation time. Once the appliance has

been running for a few hours, everything will be back to normal.

Reversing the Door Swing

This appliance has the capability of the door opening from either the left or right side. The unit is

delivered to you with the door opening from the left side. Should you desire to reverse the opening

direction, please follow the instructions below:

1. Carefully lay the wine cellar on its back. Use cushioning to protect the floor and appliance.

2. With the door shut, remove the two screws holding the bottom hinge to the door.

3. Carefully lift off the door.

4. Unscrew the top hinge pin and cover and move to the opposite side.

5. Use the new bottom hinge provided in the plastic bag inside the wine cellar.

6. Place the door back onto the wine cellar, lining up the top hinge pin.

7. Connect the new bottom hinge pieces to the door and cabinet, using the screws from the

opposite side and following the same placement.

8. Keep the spare hinge, in case you ever want to set the door back to its original position.

Installation of the Handle

To install the handle, please follow these instructions:

1. Carefully pull the door gasket (seal) away from the door in

the area where the handle will be attached.

2. Place the handle over the screw holes on the outside of

the door and attach it with the screws that have been

provided. Tighten the screws.
