14. HEATER EXPANSION
Due to the characteristics of tube heaters,
the installer must allow for 1” expansion for
every 10’ length of tube. In order to address
this characteristic, it is suggested that the
gas line, flue vent, and combustion air
intake (if used) shall be installed in such a
manner, that the normal expansion of the
heater will be accommodated.
