General
• Only use certified HDMI devices that are tested by Authorized Test Centers.
• Only use certified HDMI cables that support the required transmission speed. High Speed HDMI cables are recommended.
Poor or no picture / sound
• Make sure the power adapter of the ONE FOR ALL Smart HDMI Switch is properly connected and the power LED is lit.
• Make sure the HDMI cables are properly connected.
• Make sure your sources and display are supporting the required resolutions.
• Make sure the HDMI sources and display support HDCP (High-Bandwidth Digital Content Protection).
• If your 3D content doesn’t show, make sure your 3D source and display are fully supporting the same 3D format.
• Connect your source devices directly to your display device (e.g. HDTV) - without the ONE FOR ALL Smart HDMI Switch. This allows
you to determine which device causes the issue.
Automatic switching doesn’t work
• The ONE FOR ALL Smart HDMI Switch uses different methods to detect if it needs to switch automatically. Which method it uses
depends on the source device. The safest way to make sure the ONE FOR ALL Smart HDMI Switch automatically switches is to make
sure all source devices are turned off. Next, turn on the desired source device and make sure it displays a picture. The ONE FOR ALL
Smart HDMI Switch will automatically select this source device.
• If you’re device supports HDMI-CEC, make sure it is enabled. Please see the devices user manual for instructions how to do this.
NOTE: HDMI-CEC is better known by their respective brand names, such as Anynet+(Samsung), SimpLink(LG), Easylink(Philips), BRAVIA
Theatre Sync (Sony), VIERA Link (Panasonic), etc.
• Try to manually select the desired source device using the Input button. If this works properly, turn off the source device, wait a few
seconds and turn it on again to see if the source device is now selected automatically.
