2. Description of the Programmable Logic Controller
(PLC)
The implemented Siemens LOGO PLC monitors the following functions:
► Controller signal when a programme has been started from internal memory, Memory-
Card or via control software Celsius
► Monitoring of the four doors via magnetic reed switches
► Monitoring of a preset minimum temperature and minimum hold time
► Waiting for the preset unloading temperature (< 50°C)
► When the unloading temperature has been reached, the green confirmation button
flashes and the door on the clean room side is unlocked.
► After unloading the appliance and confirming by pressing the confirmation button, the
door of the cleanroom side is locked and the grey side is unlocked.
3. Behaviour of the door lock mechanism when the
appliance is switched off or in case of a power
failure
► The doors on the grey side are unlocked if there is no power.
► The doors on the cleanroom side are locked if there is no power.
