Maintenance, Care and Safety Precautions

WARNING!!

Before cleaning disconnect Pipettor from the power supply. Never clean the
power supply or immerse the Pipettor in water.

Safety Precautions

Never use with highly flammable or corrosive liquids

Ensure the current of your electrical source matches the voltage of the charger
unit. Only use the adapter supplied with the unit.

When changing the filter, wear protective gloves to prevent accidental
contamination.

Do not open the Pipettor housing as it will void warranty

Maintenance

Replacement of Filter:

Turn the nosepiece counter clockwise until the nosepiece is separated from the pipettor.
Remove the filter from the silicon pipette holder and the filter tube. Dispose of the filter
and replace with a fresh one.

The filter should be replaced every three months or when the filter is contaminated by
liquid or the suction capacity is slowed. Note: Only use Omega replacement filters to
guarantee a proper seal.

*Never operate the Omega Pipettor without a filter.
