Before inspecting or servicing any part of this machine,
shut off or disconnect power source and make sure all
moving parts have come to a complete stop.

The Sabre Tooth Blade is used for cutting wood, weeds, brush and
small trees up to 4" diameter.

The Sabre Tooth Blade is used for cutting wood, weeds, brush
and small trees up to 4" diameter.
SAFETY
Your safety and the safety of others is important. Valuable safety
messages are provided in these instructions. Please carefully read
and obey these messages.
1. Improper use or abuse of the Sabre Tooth Blade can result
in serious injury.
2. Do not install or operate a Sabre Tooth Blade on the Wheeled
Trimmer with any safety device or guard removed, incorrectly
installed, changed, inoperative or in poor condition.
3. Do not use bent, fractured, dulled or damaged Sabre Tooth
Blades.
4. Do not operate the Wheeled Trimmer with a Sabre Tooth Blade
installed in the vicinity of bystanders. Keep a minimum distance
of 100 feet away from people and pets.
5. Do not allow children or an inexperienced operator to use the
Wheeled Trimmer equipped with a Sabre Tooth Blade.
6. Wear safety glasses at all times during operation.
7. Inspect the surrounding area thoroughly before use. Remove
all foreign objects before operation.
8. Do not allow a rotating Sabre Tooth Blade to touch any mate-
rial other than wood, weeds, brush, and small trees up to 4"
diameter. Avoid hitting stones, wire, bottles, rocks, glass, cans,
metal of any kind and any other foreign objects.
9. Do not operate the Sabre Tooth Blade and Wheeled Trimmer
like an axe. The Sabre Tooth Blade is not intended for such
use; improper use can seriously damage both the Sabre Tooth
Blade and Wheeled Trimmer resulting in serious injury.
10. Always keep the Sabre Tooth Blade maintained in good
working condition
INSTALLATION
1. Inspect kit to verify all items were received.
2. Use 1-1/16" box end wrench on flat spots of top spindle spacer.
3. Use a second 1-1/16" box end wrench on hex of mower ball.
Loosen mow ball and replace Trimmer Disk with Sabre Tooth
Blade.
4. Replace mower ball and tighten.
OPERATION
Wear safety glasses during operation. Wear proper clothing to
protect feet, legs and other exposed body parts. The intended use
of the Sabre Tooth Blade is for cutting wood, weeds, brush and
small trees up to 4" diameter.
Keep the wheels grounded at all times to prevent undue pressure
on the trimmer head which could result in personal injury. Do not
use the Sabre Tooth Blade as an axe.
1. Inspect the surrounding area for foreign objects. Keep the Sa-
bre Tooth away from stones, wire, bottles, rocks, glass, cans,
metal of any kind and any other foreign objects.
2. Start the engine. Refer to trimmer owner's manual or engine
manufacturer owner's manual for specific starting instructions.
3. Place the trimmer head on the ground and begin walking slowly
to begin cutting.
4. Cut trees so they fall away from the trimmer and operator.
5. Refer to instructions in the Wheeled Trimmer owners manual
for using trimming adjustments and the Off Center Tilt (OCT)
feature. Be sure not to cut into the ground to prevent premature
blade dulling.
