The debris loader swing away kit replaces the standard
hitch tube on DL10570 and DL8390 models. This kit allows
the debris loader to swing up to 180 degrees to the left or
right.
INSTALLATION
Use a hoist or jack to support the debris loader. Do 1.
not support the unit by the hitch tube, as it will be
removed.
Loosen the two bottom 5/16" x 2-3/4" bolts in the fan

housing hitch channel. Remove the center 5/16" x
2-3/4" bolt (Figure 1).

Before inspecting or servicing any part of this machine,
shut off power source, disconnect spark plugs and make
sure all moving parts have come to a complete stop.

Loosen the two 3/8" u-bolts that attach the engine 3.
support to the hitch tube.
Remove the hitch tube.

insert the longer tube of the swing away assembly 5.
through the two u-bolts and into the hitch channel of
the debris loader fan housing.
Line up the hole of the swing away tube with the top

hole in the fan housing hitch channel. Then, reinstall
the three 5/16" bolts from step 2. Torque to 17 ft-lbs.
Torque the 3/8" nuts on the two u-bolts to 30 ft-lbs.

OPERATION
Turn the machine off and wait for all moving parts to 1.

if you are swinging the debris loader to the right,

remove the left hitch pin. if you are swinging the debris
loader to the left, remove the right hitch pin.
Swing the debris loader to the desired position. Lock

adjust the direction of the discharge tube as needed.

Lock the debris loader in the center position before
transporting.
