rotate the chute until the chain master link (a) is accessible 1.

remove the master link and set aside; remove the chain.

attach the bottom of the new crank assembly to the chipper 1.

tighten the chain by pulling the crank and sprocket assembly

Install the chute lock assemlby (Figure 5) to the crank as-

Slide the chute lock assembly towards the chute until the

lock engages the throat of the sprocket.
tighten the lock assembly mounting bolts (F).

pull the lock lever (g) back and turn the rotating lever (h). 10.
If the lock does not release the sprocket, loosen the bolts (F) 11.
and slide the assembly away from the chute until the lock
clears the chute sprocket.
retighten the bolts (F).
12.
check to ensure that the lock engages the sprocket when 13.
released.
