3.1 CoNTRoL paNEL
4 STaRTER SWITCH
On gas models, turn the key to the right to activate the
electric start. On diesel models, turn the key to the left
to activate the glow plug. When the glow plug light extin-
guishes, turn the key to the right to start. DO NOT START
THE MACHINE WITH THE CHIPPER ENgAgED.
3 FuEL GauGE
2 THRoTTLE
The throttle controls the speed of the engine. To increase
throttle, turn the knob counterclockwise, to decrease, turn
it clockwise.
1 CHoKE
use the choke to start the gasoline engine when it is cold.
Pull the choke out to start the engine, and then push in
when the engine has warmed up.
9 CHaRGE Lamp
The charge lamp will light up if the battery doesn't charge
correctly.

8 GLoW pLuG CoNTRoLLER
When the key switch is turned to preheat position (to the
left) the glow plug controller will light up for several sec-
onds until the engine is ready to be started.
