1) Remove factory skid plate (if equipped).
2) Starting with drivers side, attach side frame bar front mounting hole to existing hole in bottom
flat edge of frame with
1 /
2
” bolt (see photo #1). Temporarily snug bolt. Do not tighten at this time.
Repeat on passenger side.
3) Install polyurethane bushings and steel sleeves in cross bars (See photo #2). Install the cross bars
using
1 /
2
” bolts (See photo #3). Do not tighten. Using the side bars as a template, mark and drill the
rear 1 /
2
” mounting holes (See photo #4) CAUTION; make sure there are no electrical or fuel lines
that will come in contact with the drill. Temporarily install the rear 1 /
2
” bolt and mark the remaining
hole locations.
4) Remove the assembly and drill the remaining 1 /
2
” mounting holes. Re-install the assembly and
tighten bolts.
5) Install skid and side plates with 3 /
8
” bolts (see photo #5).
