INSTALLATION NOTES:
• This kit requires the use of a separate spacer kit (not included) See diagram #1.
• Inspect the contents of the kit and read the entire instructions before proceeding.
• We recommend this installation be performed by a qualified technician.
• Torque all hardware to factory specifications.
• Use only factory approved fluids.
1) Check all clearances (see diagram 1) to ensure there is adequate clearance for the system.
2) Perform the installation with the vehicle’s weight on the wheels.
3) If you already have the proper u-bolts for the kit, proceed to step 4.
If not, install replacement u-bolts first.
4) Attach air bag to upper bracket. Place spacer on top of lower u-bolt plate and hold assembly
in place to reference where upper bracket mounting holes will be drilled. The upper edge of
the frame bracket should be approximately even with the top edge of the frame. Using the
bracket as a guide, mark and drill (4)

” mounting holes. Repeat steps on opposite
side of truck (see photo 1).
5) Attach upper frame brackets and tighten (see photo 2).
6) Attach air bag and spacer to lower u-bolt plate with 3 /
8
” bolts. Place assembly on top of factory
spring plate and attach with 5 /
8
”jam nuts and washers. Be sure the u-bolts do not extend more
than 1 /
2
” above the jam nuts (see photo 3).
7) Attach air bag to frame bracket with 3 /
8
” fine thread nuts and flat washers.
8) Install air fittings in top of air bags.
9) Find a suitable location for the air fill valve and drill 3 /
8
” hole for mounting.
10) Cut air line to fit, and route between fill valve and bags. Be careful to avoid heat sources or
sharp edges (see photo 4).
11) Inflate bags and check for leaks with a solution of soap and water.
12) Re-check all hardware, clearances, and fittings prior to driving vehicle.
