WSXGA+, wide format 1680x1050
Wide format, super extended graphics array is
a display specification that is capable of
displaying 1680 x 1050 resolution or
approximately 1.7 million pixels.
8ms response time (On/Off)
On-Off response time is the period required
for a liquid crystal cell to go from active (black)
to inactive (white) and back to active (black)
again. It is measured in milliseconds. Faster is
better: Lower response time means faster
transitions and, therefore, results in fewer
visible image artifacts in the display of
transition of text and graphics. On-Off
response time is a more important measure in
the display of business content like documents,
graphs and photos.
Dual input
Dual input provides connectors to
accommodate input of both analog VGA and
digital DVI signals.
SmartManage enabled
SmartManage is a system for monitoring,
managing and checking status of display devices
as well as delivering remote support to users
who experience difficulties - all accomplished
over a LAN.
Large viewing area
Viewing area is the visible portion of a monitor
screen available for displaying data.
Super Ergo Base
The Super Ergo base is a monitor base that
delivers ergonomic display comfort and
provides intelligent cable management. The
base's people-friendly height, swivel, tilt and
rotation angle adjustments position the
monitor for maximum comfort that can ease
the physical strains of a long workday;
intelligent cable management reduces cable
clutter and keeps the workspace neat and
professional.
Screen tilt and swivel
Screen tilt and swivel is a mechanism built into
the base permits the monitor to swivel and tilt
backward or forward.
USB 2.0 port
USB port allows user to conveniently connect
their plug and play multimedia devices such as
USB memory devices, camera, portable HDD,
Web camera, PDA, Printer and many other
devices which has USB connection available.
The conveniently located USB 2.0 port on the
monitor allows USB 2.0 signals to pass thru to
the computer. Note that many devices like
cameras and HDD may need to be powered
On independently, as they have higher power
requirements than the monitor USB port can

SmartControl
PC software for fine tuning display
performance and settings. Philips offers users
two choices for display setting adjustment.
Either navigate the multilevel On Screen
Display menu through buttons on the display
itself or use the Philips SmartControl software
to easily adjust the various display settings in a
familiar way.

A DVI cable is shipped with the product to
provide high quality digital display.
