Tape Manager
Manage your entire tape collection with easy access to any recording.
Tape Manager allows you to store up 330 video cassettes in the VCR
memory and helps you instantly determine tape content, locate a particu-
lar recording, or even find and access available blank space in your video
cassette collection. Each time you make a recording, the Tape Manager
assigns your tape a number and stores program title (if available), date,
time, channel, and length of recording.Then at the press of a button on
the remote control,Tape Manager will let you navigate and sort your
entire video collection.
Turbo Timer™
Timer programming has never been easier or faster.You don’t even have
to turn on the TV. Just push the Turbo Timer button on the remote con-
trol.The display of your VCR asks you for the start and end time as well
as the program’s number.That’s it. Just a few seconds.

Turbo Drive
The new Philips Turbo Drive cuts fast forward and rewind time in half
(about a 75 seconds for T-120 tapes) using a microprocessor to measure
tape wheel revolutions.This reduces waiting time between playback for
the utmost in speed and convenience.This advanced drive also include an
intelligence system that provides a built-in warning in case of dirty heads,
plus a tape position indicator with real time counter and tape remain.
Audio Dubbing
Now you can add background music or personal commentary to video
through the easy-to-use audio dubbing feature. Rear audio in/out sockets
allow connection to an external stereo audio system.

Hi-Fi Stereo Sound with Built-In MTS/SAP Decoder
Record stereo videotapes from stereo sound sources and playback
pre-recorded hi-fi stereo tapes in hi-fi stereo sound using two audio
heads and four video heads. Delivers an excellent 90dB+ dynamic
range–through a stereo-equipped TV or regular TV and stereo hi-fi
home audio system.The built-in MTS/SAP decoder allows reception and
recording of off-air television stereo broadcasts and second audio
program transmissions, where available. Back-up memory logic retains
the cable channel guide map indefinitely even during a power failure or
when the VCR is disconnected from its power source.
VCR Plus+C3™ Easy Taping with Cable Box Control
Simplifies VCR programming by allowing you to simply enter PlusCode®
programming numbers, for both regular and Cable TV channels, found in
many published television listings.When recording begins, your VCR
automatically selects the proper TV channel and program length. Back-up
memory logic retains the cable channel guide map indefinitely even
during a power failure or when the VCR is disconnected from its
