External battery pack
The External battery pack is a sleek battery pack that
snaps snugly onto your player and delivers additional
power for music enjoyment on the go. The External
battery pack uses standard alkaline batteries from
where the player draws power. The result is even longer
hours of pure enjoyment.
Microdisplay viewfinder
Microdisplay viewfinder combines the latest LCD
technology with high precision optics to enable you to
accurately frame your subjects during photo or video
capture as well as play them back on the go. The
Microdisplay viewfinder's small panel is magnified by a
small lens making it perfect for small devices that are
big on playback.
Direct USB
Devices with direct USB can be plugged directly into the
USB port of your PC without the need for any cable.
Your computer will automatically recognize the device
as a removable USB mass storage device (Windows 98
requires additional drivers) allowing you to easily drag
and drop files via Windows Explorer (or Apple Folders)
between your computer and device. Simply pack your
device with music and data on the go - everyday.
USB direct battery recharge
Direct battery recharge via USB offers ultra convenience
when recharging your device. No need to bother with
separate chargers or cables, simply plug n' recharge
your device directly on your PC.
5-Key in-cord remote control
Philips 5-Key in-cord remote control places access to
playback controls right at your fingertips. The remote
control connects to your device via a compact plug and
uses a standard headphone socket allowing you to
easily and conveniently swap headphones.
MPEG4 video capture
MPEG4 video capture allows you to record video in the
highly compressed MPEG4 format, which results in
smaller video file sizes while maintaining excellent
sound and picture quality. Captured video is
compressed in real time to MPGE4 format and stored
on the device. After which you can transfer the resulting
MPEG4 files to a PC for viewing or further editing.

Windows Explorer allowing you to simply drag and drop
files to and from the device.
