Espresso and Coff ee Brewing Using Pre-Ground Coff ee
This function allows you to use pre-ground and decaff einated coff ee.
With the pre-ground coff ee function you can only brew one coff ee at a
time.
1 Press the “ ” button to select the pre-ground coff ee function.

2 Lift the pre-ground coff ee compartment lid and add one measuring
scoop of pre-ground coff ee to the compartment. Use only the measur-
ing scoop supplied with the machine. Then close the pre-ground
coff ee compartment lid.
Warning:
Add only pre-ground coff ee to the pre-ground coff ee compartment.
Other substances and objects may cause severe damage to the ma-
chine. Such damage will not be covered by warranty.
3 Press the “ ” button for an espresso or the “ ” button for a coff ee.
The brewing cycle starts.
4 After the prebrewing cycle, coff ee begins to pour out of the dispensing
spout.
5 Coff ee brewing stops automatically when the pre-programmed level
is reached; it is, however, possible to stop earlier by pressing the “ ”
button.
After brewing the product, the machine returns to the main menu.
Repeat the steps described above to brew more coff ees using pre-ground
coff ee.
Note:
If no pre-ground coff ee is poured into the pre-ground coff ee compart-
ment, only water will be dispensed.
If the dose is excessive and 2 or more scoops of pre-ground coff ee are
used, the machine will not brew the product and any ground coff ee will be
discharged into the coff ee grounds drawer.
