Original software and hardware
Running on an advanced industrial computer system, original Liebherr crane drive systems precisely calculates all crane
movements both in space and in-time. The ergonomically designed cabin, Liebherr hardware and real Liebherr drive sys-
tems guarantee a realistic and unique training experience. A motion platform driven by advanced physics software accura-
tely simulates the response and feel of a real crane. Full HD flat screens and surround sound speakers reproduce views and
sounds of a typical port environment. Each simulator is equipped with a multifunctional instructor station offering complete
control over the simulation.
Solutions
LiSIM ® STS - RTG Crane Simulator is available in three different configurations to meet specific customer requirements.
Classroom solution:
Designed to be easily integrated into existing training centres. The display, seat and controls are mounted on a
base plate and a solid display frame. The display system provides extensite views for an immersive experience.
Cab-enclosed solution:
Installed in an original STS or RTG cabin, this space-saving solution ensures that the operator becomes familiar with cont-
rolling the crane in a real-life environment.
Containerised solution:
Housed in a fully furnished 40 ft container, this easy-to-transport simulator solution features an integrated training room, a
utility room and an instructor station. The container is fitted with integrated heating, air-conditioning and lighting.
