Wide variety of equipment.
The equipment elements fi tted to the crawler material-han-
dlers have been designed especially with material-handling
operations in mind. The balanced industrial kinematic con-
cepts ensure maximum working radii at high load capaci-
ties. A wide range of different industrial gooseneck booms
and industrial sticks provide the best possible equip-
ment variant for every task. Liebherr crawler excavators
are designed to shift a lot in a short time, and with-
out having to move the machine. This time saving
directly benefi ts handling capacity and achieves a
clear boost in profi tability.
Even greater adaptation to the particular task
can be provided with the new Vario Lift Plus
system, which Liebherr offers on all material-
handling excavators – the only manufacturer
to do so. With the help of holes provided on
the boom and slewing platform, the lifting
rams and the boom itself can be inserted
in a variable arrangement, which means
that a whole range of entirely different
tasks can be carried out by one mate-
rial-handling machine, selecting the
best kinematic variant in each partic-
ular case and the best possible load
capacities brought into action in
each case. Just one example is the
special plug-in variant intended for
loading and unloading ships.
