• • Do not immerse cord, plug or appliance in
water or any other liquid.
• • Always switch the appliance to ‘OFF’,
switch the power off at the power outlet
and then remove the plug when the
appliance is not being used and
before cleaning.
• • Regularly inspect the supply cord, plug
and actual appliance for any damage.
If found damaged in any way, immediately
cease use of the appliance and return the
entire unit to your nearest authorised
Breville Service Centre for examination,
replacment or repair.
• • Any maintenance other than cleaning
should be performed at an authorised
Breville Service Centre.
• • The installation of a residual current
device (safety switch) is recommended to
provide additional safety protection when
using electrical appliances. It is advisable
that a safety switch with a rated residual
operating current not exceeding 30mA be
installed in the electrical circuit supplying
the appliance. See your electrician for
professional advice.
SPECIAL SAFETY
INSTRUCTIONS
• • Only use cold water in the water tank.
Do not use any other liquid.
• • Never use the machine without water in it.
• • Ensure the filter holder is firmly secured
when using the machine.
• • Never remove the filter holder during the
brewing operation as the machine is
under pressure.
