Insert the screwdriver underneath the
electronic circuit board in multiple places.

Twist and pry the electronic circuit board
loose until it is completely separated from the
handle.

Pry the batteries loose by inserting the
screwdriver on the sides of the two batteries
in the locations that are shown in the figure.

Twist the screwdriver to break the glue bond
round the batteries. The batteries are joined
together with glue and are lifted out together.
