Troubleshooting
Built-in Heater Ready Light does not illuminate.
Possible Causes:
Remedies:
The Heater Switch is not turned ON (
I )
Turn the Heater Switch ON (
I ).
The Power Switch is not turned ON (
I )
Both switches must be ON
(
I ) to
activate the Heater Ready Light.
Reduced Spray or No Spray.
Possible Causes:
Remedies:
Water Tank may be empty
Fill Heavy Duty Bladder with hot
tap
water.
Formula Tank may be empty
Fill Formula Tank with BISSELL Fiber
Cleansing Formula for cleaning.
Tanks may not be seated completely
Turn Power OFF (
O). Remove and
reseat
tanks.
Pump may have lost prime
Turn Power OFF (
O) and then back
ON
(
I ). Wait one minute, then
depress
Trigger.
DirtLifter PowerBrushes do not turn
Possible Causes:
Remedies:
The Brush is off or broken
Turn the machine OFF (
O) and unplug
from outlet. Follow instructions on
page
17.
The unit is in the upright position
Brushes only rotate when unit is
reclined using the detent pedal.
Circuit Breaker may have tripped
Turn the machine OFF (
O) and unplug
from outlet. Check to see if foreign
object is caught in brush roll. Remove
object. Plug machine back in to reset
circuit
breaker.
Carpet Protector is not spraying
Possible Causes:
Remedies:
Cartridge is not connected to the tool
Follow instructions on cartridge to
assure proper fit.
Ready Tools Dial on Floor Setting
Set Ready Tools Dial to Hose
Attachments
Setting.
Solution clogging the Spray Trigger
Soak Applicator Tool only in hot water.
Spray without the cartridge attached
to purge any residual solution left in
the
tool.
