Image stabilization
The CAMILEO X-SPORTS is also equipped with an
electronic image stabilizer (EIS)
which can be
activated via the ‘Settings’ option in the menu. As a
result of its integrated
gyro sensors
, the image
stabilizer reduces blurring and therefore leads to
improved picture quality where camera shake
occurs. This feature is better suited for use in
normal conditions as opposed to action sequences.
There are technical reasons why significant
movement can only be reduced by a certain extent.
This reduces the angle of view by 10%.
CAMILEO X-SPORTS
Zoom
For those times when you don’t need a wide angle of view and are more
interested in the finer details, you can use the
10x digital zoom
. This is
adjusted using the ‘T’ (tele) and ‘W’ (wide) buttons next to the screen and
brings you closer to the action.
Power Save
To ensure that the CAMILEO X-SPORTS keeps on going when you’re in
the middle of the action, it features a number of power saving options
that help to prolong battery life. The
automatic screen switch-off
has
variable settings (5 s to 5 min). In addition, a
complete shutdown
occurs
after 1, 2 or 5 minutes of inactivity (default values). The screen brightness,
use of the remote control and the WLAN function also impact battery life.
