The graphics system in your computer may use part of the main system
memory for graphics performance and therefore reduce the amount of
system memory available for other computing activities. The amount of
system memory allocated to support graphics may vary depending on the
graphics system, applications utilized, system memory size and other
factors.
Slot
One memory expansion slot is located on the
underside of the computer and one beneath the
keyboard. Depending on the model, you can
upgrade to a maximum of 2,048Mb memory using
two 1,024Mb expansion modules, although you
may need to remove an existing memory module
from the computer in order to achieve this
capacity. The memory on the underside of the
computer is considered user-upgradable but the
memory beneath the keyboard must be upgraded
by an authorised TOSHIBA service partner.
Maximum upgradable system memory depends
on the model you purchased.
