Battery Pack Your computer is powered by a rechargeable
lithium-ion battery pack (4000 or 2000 mAh).
RTC Battery The internal RTC battery backs up the Real Time
Clock and calendar.
AC Adaptor The universal AC adaptor provides power to the
system and recharges the batteries when they
are low. It comes with a detachable power cord.
Because it is universal, it can receive a range of
AC voltage from 100 to 240 volts; however, the
output current varies among different models.
Using the wrong model can damage your
computer. Refer to the AC adaptor section in
Chapter 2, The Grand Tour .
Hard disk Disclaimer 1 Gigabyte (GB) means 10 9 = 1,000,000,000
bytes using powers of 10. The computer
operating system, however, reports storage
capacity using powers of 2 for the definition of
1 GB = 2
30 = 1,073,741,824 bytes, and therefore
shows less storage capacity. Available storage
capacity will also be less if the product includes
one or more pre-installed operating systems,
such as Microsoft Operating System and/or
pre-installed software applications, or media
content. Actual formatted capacity may vary.
