About YouTube playback
The YouTube service this product supports is YouTube Leanback.
NOTE
• As of October 2011, the YouTube Leanback access screen is only available in English. For
details, see the YouTube Help, for example at http://www.google.com/support/youtube/.
• YouTube videos for mobile phones cannot be played.
• It may not be possible to play some YouTube videos.
• Depending on the Internet connection environment, it may not be possible to play
YouTube videos properly.
• To access to web contents, this player requires a broadband Internet connection. A
contract with an Internet provider is required for a broadband Internet connection.
• Access to content provided by third parties requires a high speed internet connection and
may also require account registration and a paid subscription. Third party content services
may be changed, suspended, interrupted, or discontinued at any time without notice,
and Pioneer disclaims any liability in connection with such occurrences. Pioneer does not
represent or warrant that content services will continue to be provided or available for a
particular period of time, and any such warranty, express or implied, is disclaimed.
Playback
CAUTION
• Check the following sections of the operating instructions before operating:
– Connecting to the LAN (10/100) terminal (page 11)
– Internet Setting (page 21)
– Communication Setup (page 22)
• Remove any disc from the disc tray when viewing YouTube videos.

Display the selection screen.
When the wallpaper is displayed, use k/l to select the YouTube logo, then press
ENTER.
• YouTube can also be selected by pressing
HOME MENU and selecting [Web
Contents] d [YouTube].

Select the file and play it.
Use i/j/k/l to select the file, then press ENTER.
• To stop playback, press HOME MENU. Playback of the video stops and the Pioneer
logo screen (wallpaper) reappears.
