Configuring PCs in Windows
For Windows XP
1.
Go to Start / Control Panel (in Classic View). In the
Control Panel, double-click Network Connections.

Double-click Local Area Connection. (See Figure 3.1)

In the LAN Area Connection Status window, click
Properties
. (See Figure 3.2)
4.
Select Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) and click
Properties
. (See Figure 3.3)
5.
Select the Obtain an IP address automatically and
Obtain DNS server address automatically
radio
buttons. (See Figure 3.4)
6.
Click OK to finish the configuration.
