WARNING:
• This appliance shall not be used by children.
• Keep the appliance and its cord out of reach of children.

if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning

CAUTION: SHORT-TERM OPERATION
Do not operate the knife for more than five minutes without a
break.
CAUTION:
The appliance must not be immersed in water for cleaning.
• Please follow the instructions provided in the chapter on “Clean-
ing”.
Overview of the Components

Unpacking the Device
• Remove the motor device and the accessories from the
box.
• Also remove any packaging materials that may be pres-
ent.
• Wipe all the parts with a moist cloth to remove all the
dust that may have deposited on and in the device dur-
ing transport.
WARNING:
Please be particularly careful when handling the knives.
There is a
danger of injury. Only hold the blades as near
to the ends as possible or by the plastic handling surfaces.
Wall Installation
You can also mount to the holder on the wall. Please remem-
ber however that there must be an electric socket close by.
• To do so, measure the distance between the recesses
on the back and drill two holes at this distance for the
rawlplugs.
CAUTION:
Please ensure beforehand that you will not be damaging
any electrical wiring or pipes hidden in the wall!
The Blades
CAUTION:
None of the blades is suitable for cutting bones or other
similar hard items!
With the frozen food knife (5) it is only possible to cut deep
frozen food.
With the normal blade (4) you can cut, for example, fresh
bread, meat, roasts etc.
