to confirm, and the display will flash “PLEASE WAIT”.
If the handset registration is successful, you will hear a confirmation
tone and the display will go to idle mode with the new handset
number shown. The handset will automatically be allocated the next
available handset number.
tIf the handset registration is unsuccessful, the display will return to
show ”REGISTER HANDSET”.
10.7 Reset your phone
You can reset your phone to the default settings . After a reset, all your
personal settings, call list entries and redial list entries will be deleted
but your phonebook remains unchanged.

11 Troubleshooting

No dialling tone when

not plugged in.

t Another handset is
using the base to
make a call.
t Wrong telephone
line cord.
t Check the
connections. Unplug
and plug back in the
mains. Check that the
telephone cord has
been plugged into
the base station and
the phone socket.
t Check the base
station plug and the
230V plug (remove
and plug-in).
t Wait until the line is
unoccupied.
