LCD messages
If Try one or more of the following
No pictures or videos to
display ■ Change image storage location setting ( see page 35 ).
Memory card requires
formatting ■ Insert a new card ( see page 5 ) or format the card ( see
page 37 ).
Caution: Formatting a card deletes all pictures and
videos, including protected files.
Memory card cannot be read
(Please format memory card
or insert another card)
Internal memory requires
formatting ■ Format the internal memory ( see page 37 ).
Caution: Formatting deletes all pictures and
videos, including protected files. (Formatting
internal memory also deletes email addresses. To
restore them, see the Kodak EasyShare software
Help.)
Internal memory cannot be
read (Please format internal
memory)
Memory card is unusable
(Insert new memory card) ■ Insert a new card ( see page 5 ) or format the card ( see
page 37 ).

High camera temperature.
(Camera will be turned off.) ■ Leave the camera off for ten minutes, then turn it back on.

Unrecognized file format ■ Transfer the picture to the computer ( see page 45 ), or
delete it ( page 18 ).
Camera error #XXXX. See
