Installation
Installing the Communicator receiver and Communicator Port consists of locating it where it can be seen most
effectively for the user. If using the optional Bed Vibrator or Strobe Light then place the Docking Port on a table or
night stand near your bed.
Plug the power supply into the DC barrel type female jack on the back of the Communicator port (See
locations below) and then into any standard household 120v AC outlet.
Turn the power switch to the on position. This will also turn on the backup battery.
If using the optional Bed Vibrator or Strobe Light, then plug those into the corresponding locations on the
back of the Docking Port.
Charging
You will need to charge your Communicator receiver for 8 hours prior to the first use.
Pull the arrow tab from battery door.
Place the Communicator receiver into the Communicator port. Note* You must lean the receiver back
on a slight angle to install properly into the Communicator port. If you do not do this you risk
damaging the charging pins.
o If using the Leather Pouch you must remove it before placing the Communicator into the
Communicator Port.
o If using the optional Rubber Skin you can leave that on the Communicator when placing into the
Communicator Port
When the Communicator is placed into the Communicator Port the receiver will vibrate to let you know
that it has been placed into the docking port properly.
