The HARD & SUGAR-FREE * CANDY COTTON CANDY KIT from Nostalgia Electrics™ is a fun
and easy way to make sweet, fluffy cotton candy from the comfort of home. Watching the
deliciously flavored candies or sugar spin into sugary floss will delight people of all ages!
This kit works great with Nostalgia Electrics™ brand cotton candy makers. Kit includes:
• Assorted Natural & Artificial Lemonade Flavored Hard Candy
• Natural & Artificial Fruit Flavored Sugar-Free * Candy
• Artificial Pink Vanilla Cotton Candy Sugar
• 24 Paper Cones
HOW TO MAKE COTTON CANDY
1. Turn your Nostalgia Electrics™ Cotton Candy Maker to ON position and allow it to run
for at least 5 minutes before adding hard candy. If using sugar, allow appliance to run
for at least 10 minutes before adding sugar. This will allow the Extractor Head to heat.
2. Turn unit OFF and place no more than two pieces
of hard candy or one tablespoon of flavored sugar
(½-oz.) into the Extractor Head. Make sure
the candies are evenly placed on either side
of the Extractor Head.
3. Switch unit to ON position.
4. When you see the cotton candy web begin,
collect the cotton candy on the cone by holding the cone vertically.
Rotate the cone with your fingers while you circle the bowl.
5. Once cotton candy has collected on the cone, hold the cone in a horizontal position
over the Extractor Head while still rotating the cone with your fingers. Continue
turning the cone with your fingers while the cone is in the horizontal position
and move from side to side making sure to collect all the cotton candy.
6. Repeat above steps by adding another measure of candy into the Extractor Head and
starting again. The cotton candy should flow more quickly as the unit is sufficiently warm.
HELPFUL TIPS
• Only put in 1-2 hard candies or 1 tablespoon of sugar at a time
• Make sure the candies are evenly placed on either side of the Extractor Head.
If using sugar, make sure it is level after pouring into the Extractor Head.
• For best results, break candies up before use.
