M2_1: M.2 Connector
The M.2 port supports both M.2 SATA 6Gb/s module or M.2 PCIe module.
Important
The M.2 port will be unavailable when installing a SATA/ SATA Express device in
the SATA5/ SATA6/ SATA Express port.
Intel RST only supports PCIe M.2 SSD with UEFI ROM, does not support Legacy
ROM.
M.2 PCIe interface does not support RAID 0, RAID1, RAID 5 and RAID 10.
SATA_EX1: SATA Express Connector
The SATA Express, a new high performance storage interface, supports 1 or 2 SATA
devices (see the SATA connectors section) or 1 PCIe (SATA Express interface)
device with up to 10 Gb/s transfer rate. Connects the PCIe (SATA Express interface)
device with the SATA Express connector by a SATA Express cable.
