Operator’s Manual for Next Advance Rockers
SETUP
Place the Rocker on a level lab
bench. Plug the power supply into the
back of the Rocker and then plug it into
a wall outlet. If you are using an
Infinity Rocker, turn on the power
switch on the back of the instrument.
Flip the Run/Stop switch on the front of
the Infinity Rocker to “Run”.
If you are using a Next Rocker, the
power switch is located on the front of
the instrument. Your Rocker is now
ready to use.
OPERATION
Turn the Speed Control knob to
adjust the rocking rate. To adjust the tilt
angle, use a flat blade screwdriver to
loosen the labeled Tilt Adjust Screw on
the rear of the instrument, slide the
linkage to the desired position, then
tighten the screw.
If the Infinity Rocker is to be used
in an incubator, be sure that the
incubator is designed to dissipate heat
(ie – equipped with a cooling module)
and has an internal power outlet.
Do not use the Next Rocker in a
CO
2
incubator.
PROGRAMMABLE
ROCKERS
If you have a programmable
Infinity Rocker, you can select the
program you want to use by switching
the instrument to “Stop” and turning the
dial counter clockwise past “0” speed.
The programs will appear as “ P1”,
“P2” etc.
TROUBLESHOOTING
If the unit is not turning on, check
that the rocker is plugged in and that the
power switch on the front of the
instrument is turned on. If the unit still
doesn't turn on, shut the system off for
15 minutes to allow the electronics to
reset. If the rocker does not turn on
after this period, contact customer
service.
If rocking stops intermittently, check
that the rocker is not overloaded with
too much weight and that the load is
centered over the pivot.
