3 Overview
The VP-8K is a high-performance, HDTV compatible distribution amplifier
for computer graphics signals, with resolutions exceeding UXGA. It accepts
one computer graphics input, and outputs it to eight computer graphics
signals. In particular, the VP-8K features:
•
A high video bandwidth of 370MHz, ensuring that it remains transparent
even at high-resolution graphics modes such as UXGA (1600x1200)
•
An internal ID Bit control as well as internal KR-ISP™ technology,
which provides a sharp, stable image when the sync level is too low, by
restoring the sync signal waveform
•
A termination switch
•
A desktop-sized enclosure and it is 5V DC fed
To achieve the best performance:
•
Use only good quality connection cables to avoid interference,
deterioration in signal quality due to poor matching, and elevated noise
levels (often associated with low quality cables).
•
Avoid interference from neighboring electrical appliances that may
adversely influence signal quality and position your Kramer VP-8K away
from moisture, excessive sunlight and dust
