5 Connecting the VM-4DP
Always switch off the power to each device before connecting it to your
VM-4DP. After connecting your VM-4DP, connect its power and then
switch on the power to each device.
To connect the VM-4DP as illustrated in the example in Figure 3 :
1. Connect a DP source (for example, a computer graphics source) to the DP
INPUT connector.
2. Connect the DP output connectors (not all the outputs need to be
connected), to up to four DP acceptors (for example, displays).
3. Connect the power cord to the mains electricity (not shown in Figure 3 ).
4. Turn ON the POWER on the rear panel.
5. Acquire the EDID, see Section ‎6 .
