The F3HT is an interesting design. It uses our ribbon technology in both the tweeter and the
midrange driver unit.
Ribbon speakers have been used for years but normally are reserved for more exotic hi end speak-
ers. They are expensive to make but their benefits are sonically amazing. Audiophiles have often
described speakers using ribbons as holigraphic in their ability to give you the feeling like you were
there. Clarity is another one of the hallmarks of a good ribbon driver. This of course is very impor-
tant in home theatre. Using a ribbon for the tweeter as well as the midrange is a sonic leap in home
theater.
The speaker is capable of reproducing low frequency sounds down to 20Hz. For many this makes
having a separate subwoofer unnecessary. At 45" tall these speakers easily fit into any room. They
come finished in either a piano black lacquer or rosewood.
