Unpacking of loudspeaker
Dependent on the model of the loudspeakers one or more cardboards or wooden boxes will
be delivered. All metal braces need to be removed to avoid any scratches when packing or
unpacking your loudspeakers.
SPIKES: The spikes need to be completely turned in the already built in threads, if your
chosen model has spikes. Please take care that all four spikes have a good standing and
afterwards the counter nuts need to be tightened.
Covers: The loudspeakers will be delivered with a dust protection cover and can be pulled out
and attached with little force. These covers are designed, that you can use the speakers when
they are attached. The best sound performance can be reached, when playing music without
it.

Optimal set-up of loudspeakers
The optimal set-up of the loudspeakers is the crucial factor for having a perfect sound. It is
important to take care on the position of the listener and the set-up of the loudspeakers inside
the room.
Position of listeners: As shown in figure 1 the two front speakers and the position of the listeners
should build a triangle. The
distance between the Front
speaker should be smaller then
the distance to the position to
your listening position. The
distance between the two Front
spaekers should be optimal
more then 2 meter.
Room positioning:
Based on physical reasons the
bass frequences will be stronger,
when the distance between the
walls and the speakers is
smaller. Generally it is strongly
recommended to try several
positions for finding the best
sound acoustic in the room.
For a 5 channel system (Front,
Rear and centre speakers) e.g.
for home cinema application in
combination with a silver screen
for beamer projection or alternatively with a TV-set, the centre speakers should be in a direct line
to the listening position. The Rear speakers will be placed or wall-mounted on the left and right
site of the listeners. Dipolar speakers should have one axis to the place of listening. If possible, it
is recommendable to experiment with different positions as well. Moving the Rear speakers just a
few centimetres can already cause amazing sound differences. In multi channel systems a dainty
adjustment for the processors can be crucial for the performance of the complete system.
