Body fat evaluation is based on the
standard method of measurement. It is
calculated using a correlated formula
developed on the basis of extensive
scientific studies. The water content in the
muscle without fat affects the result of the
measurement. Your particular habits and
lifestyle affect the body water level balance,
as do other factors such as the following:
a. The reading may be lower if you have
just taken a bath.
b. The readings may be higher after eating
and drinking.
c. For women, the reading may change
during your monthly period.
d. Body water may be lost due to illness
or physical activity causing effusive
sweating and dehydration.
e. The following table shows physical
status in relation to sex and age.
