Call transfer
Call transfer
During a conversation, you can transfer the call to the
other cordless handset.
• Press
TRANSFER
to transfer the external call to an
other cordless handset. Your cordless handset will
display CALL TRANSFERRED.
• The destination cordless handset will start ringing
and display TRANSFERRED CALL. Press
PHONE
or
SPEAKER
to answer the transferred call on the des-
tination cordless handset.
NOTE: If the transferred call is not answered within 30 seconds, the
external call will be returned to the cordless handset that originated the
transfer, and its display will show TRANSFERRED CALL . If the returned
call is not answered within an additional 30 seconds, the external call will end
automatically.
If the destination cordless handset cannot be found, the cordless handset that
originated the transfer will generate an error tone and continue the external
call automatically.
Before the transferred call is answered, the person at cordless handset that
originated the transfer can press
PHONE or SPEAKER to cancel the
transfer function and continue the external call.
NOTE: This unit does not have an intercom function. Cordless hand-
sets cannot communicate with each other.
