STEAM IRONING
· As indicated on the temperature control dial and the temperature table, steam-ironing is
only possible at higher ironing temperature: ·· or ··· for moderate steam; ··· or
MAX for maximum steam.
· Wait for a while until the indication to light up then go out again.
· Set the steam control to the required position.
· The iron will automatically begin to steam as soon as the iron is used.
· If the iron is too cold, water can leak from the steam holes in the soleplate. This is not
harmful to the fabric, but it will make ironing difficult.
SHOT OF STEAM
· By pressing steam button an intense shot of steam is emitted from the soleplate .
· This can be very useful e.g. when removing stubborn creases. The shot of steam facility
can be used only while ironing with high ironing temperature (position ·· , ··· or
MAX ).
DRY IRONING
· Insert the mains plug into the wall socket.
· Ensure that the variable steam control is in position MIN .
· Select the setting on the temperature control dial best suited for the fabric to be ironed.
· When the indication light is gone, ironing may commence.
AFTER USE
For the long life of your iron it is best that it is stored dry. Follow these instructions after you
have finished ironing:
· Remove the plug from the socket and set the steam control to the minimum position.
· Empty the water tank and let the iron dry for a few moments.
· Allow the iron to cool before storing it away.
CLEANING
· Always remember to unplug the iron and wait for it to cool before cleaning it.
· Deposits can be removed from the soleplate using a damp cloth and non-scratch liquid
cleaner.
· It is not advisable to de-scale this iron with vinegar or de-scaling solutions.
· Clean the exterior with a soft damp cloth only after unplugging the iron from the mains
supply.
