Call out the words “Sit down” or “Lay
down” to AIBO.
This step is to select the initial posture of AIBO to
be taken before starting an action you teach.
z Hints
• Every time you say, “Sit down” or “Lay down,” the initial posture of AIBO changes.
• When you say, “Sit down,” you cannot teach AIBO any action including movement of
rear legs.
• If you do not do anything for 30 seconds or more, or tell AIBO “That’s it,” AIBO
turns off its horn light, and cancels the action registration process.

Push the tail switch in one of four directions.
AIBO is ready for learning an action.
Its horn light flashes in orange.
