Sawdust and splinters must not be removed while the machine is running.
The dust that arises when working with this tool can be detrimental to health and therefore not
reach the body. Wear a suitable dust protection mask.
Always disconnect the plug from the socket before carrying out any work on the machine.
Only plug-in when machine is switched off.
Keep mains lead clear from working range of the machine. Always lead the cable away behind
you.
When working in walls ceiling, or floor, take care to avoid electric cables and gas or water pipes.
Do not touch a damaged or severed power supply cord when working; pull the plug out of the
power socket immediately instead. Never operate the device with a damaged power supply
cord.
Before beginning your work consult the responsible structural designer to establish the exact
position of the hole to be drilled.
When drilling through a ceiling secure the area from below because the diamond core bit can fall
out.

3 Electric supply
Connect only to single-phase a.c. current and only to the system voltage indicated on the rating
plate.
It is also possible to connect to sockets without an earthing contact as the design conforms to
safety class II.
4 Function of the Unit
4.1 Fitting the drill bit (A)
Ø 32 - 202 mm (Hollow drill core bits):
 Screw the drill core bit in position.
 Insert the centralizing mandrel.
 Slide the centralizing disc into position.
