OPERATION AND FUNCTIONS

Switching on the appliance
The factory temperature settings are, respectively, +4°C
in the refrigerator compartment (item 13) and -18°C in
the freezer compartment (item 8). The set temperature
is shown on the refrigerator display for a short period of
time, then the temperature will flash alternately with the
symbol "H 1" (item 8). In addition, an acoustic signal will
sound indicating an elevated temperature in the appliance
and a warning symbol will start flashing (item 7). When
the correct temperature, allowing for safe food storage
is reached, an acoustic signal and the "H 1" symbol turn
off automatically. An acoustic signal and the "H 1" symbol
may be turned off manually using the freezer tempera-
ture control touch sensors (item 10). A flashing warning
symbol cannot be turned off manually (item 7).
Note: When the appliance is switched on for the first time,
after cleaning or when not in use for a prolonged period of
time, refrigerator compartments reach the set temperature
after approximately 4-6 hours.
Touch sensor control panel (Fig. 10)
The appliance may be controlled by touch buttons
located on the control panel (Fig. 10). Active functions
are illuminated with white light. Inactive functions are not
illuminated and are grey.

Appliance functions
Refrigerator compartment on / off
Touch to turn off the refrigerator compartment inde-
pendently. After touching the symbol, appears on the
refrigerator temperature display.
Rapid cooling function
Touch to activate this function. This function is recom-
mended when a large amount of fresh food is to be
cooled to 5°C. The function turns off automatically after
reaching the set temperature. Touch to turn off the func-
tion early. This will be indicated when the function is not
illuminated on the display.
Holiday function
Touch to activate this function. This function is recom-
mended when the appliance will not be used for a long
period of time (during holidays for example). With this
function, the appliance will operate in economical mode.
When this function is deactivated, temperature in both
compartments will return to previously set values.
Note: Before holiday function activation, remove all per-
ishable products from the refrigerator compartment and
leave the door closed. Do not remove the products from
the freezer compartment. This function only works for the
refrigerator compartment and has no impact on the frozen
products. Holiday function may not be activated when the
rapid cooling function is on. Deactivate the rapid cooling
function first.
”Party” function
Touch to activate this function. With this function you
can quickly and safely cool drinks in the freezer compart-
ment. Recommended maximum time is 30 minutes (it is
not recommended to change the default settings when
using this function for the first time). The duration of this
function may be set between 10 and 60 minutes. The time
is adjusted by touch the and symbols for the freezer
compartment (when the function is active). When the
function is activated, countdown will start on the display
indicating the set temperature in the freezer compart-
ment. After the set time has elapsed, an acoustic signal
will sound. Touch the "Party" symbol twice to turn off the
signal.
Note: Do not place cans and bottles containing drinks in
the freezer. These may burst in very low temperatures.
Super Freeze function
Touch to activate this function. Use this function 24h
before loading the freezer with large amount of fresh food.
The recommended place to put fresh products is compart-
ment marked with the symbol. The super freeze
function is automatically disabled 26h after its activation
or when the temperature in the freezer compartment
drops below -18°C.
Freezer compartment on / off
Touch to turn off the freezer compartment independent-
ly. After touching the symbol, appears on the freezer
temperature display.
High temperature indicator (warning)
The warning will be activated (the display will show the
symbol and an acoustic signal will sound) if:
- temperature in the freezer compartment raises above
-13°C. The warning symbol stops flashing when the
temperature reaches -18°C.
- temperature in the freezer compartment raises above
-8°C. The "H 1" symbol will flash on the display in place
of the temperature indicator for the freezer compartment.
The warning symbol will turn off when the temperature
reaches -18°C.
- Temperature in the refrigerator drops below -1°C.
The "L" symbol will flash on the display in place of the
temperature indicator for the refrigerator compartment.
The warning symbol will turn off when the temperature
reaches +1°C.
Open door alert
When the refrigerator door is open, the symbol lights
up and the refrigerator compartment temperature display
shows "d". If the door remains open for longer than 30
seconds, an acoustic warning signal sounds (in selected
models). The symbol will turn off when the refrigerator
door is closed. This indicator does not apply to the freezer
compartment door.
Child Lock
Touch the symbols for both refrigerator and freezer
compartments simultaneously to activate the Child Lock.
Child Lock activation is confirmed with symbol illuminat-
ed on the display. When the Child Lock is active, all touch
control sensors are inactive. Only the combination of
touch sensors for activating / deactivating the Child Lock
is active. Touch the sensors for both compartments
simultaneously to deactivate the function. In addition, it
is recommended to use this function when cleaning the
external surface of the door.
Set the temperature in the refrigerator compartment
Touch the and sensors to adjust the temperature in
the range of 2°C to 9°C. Touch the symbol to decrease
the temperature in the refrigerator, or touch the symbol
to increase the temperature in the refrigerator.
Set the temperature in the freezer compartment
Touch the and sensors to adjust the temperature
in the range of -16°C to -24°C. Touch the symbol to
decrease the temperature in the freezer, or touch the
symbol to increase the temperature in the freezer.
Refrigerator compartment display and freezer com-
partment display.
The displays indicate the set temperature or a symbol
/ value for the individual fridge-freezer functions. The
displays do not show the actual temperature inside the
compartments but only temperature set by the user.
Error Codes
The fridge-freezer equipped with a display on the door
may indicate a fault. Except for the previously mentioned
symbols specified in the appliance control description,
one of the following symbols may appear on the display:
EE, ER, F, FF. If one of these symbols is displayed, con-
tact manufacturer's authorized service centre. Contacting
the service is also recommended when the "H1" or "L"
symbols are flashing continuously for 24 hours (when
symbols cannot be turned off manually by touching the 10
or 11 touch sensors).
