10. Tools/Extras Menu
The Tools/Extras menu gives you options for setting your preferences and other features as described in the following
sections.
Preferences
You can set the following personal preferences. After you select your new preference,
press the SAVE softkey.
• Route Type - Fastest, Shortest, Prefer Streets, Prefer Highway, or
Pedestrian
• Distance Units - Miles/feet or kilometers/meters
• Audio Options - Full Audio, Instruction Only, or No Audio
• Language - English or Spanish
• Help Card - Help Cards prompt you with hints or cautions about using
various menu options. To clear a Help Card from the screen, press the
OK button. The Help Card feature has the following three options:
1.) Show Three Times (and then don’t display them again—this is the
default setting), 2.) Always On, and 3.) Always Off.
• Call In - The Call In option lets you select which number is called when
you enter an address by speaking. One number is toll-free and the other
is not. The default is toll free.
