3. Install the Muffler Hanger Clamp over the Muffler and into the factory
rubber insulators. Place a 3” Clamp over the Muffler outlet.
Refer to Figure 5.
4. Insert the Tail Pipe over the rear axle and into the Muffler outlet.
Refer to Figure 6.
5. Install the Tail Pipe hanger into the factory rubber insulator.
Refer to Figure 7.
6. Install the Exhaust Tip onto the Tail Pipe.
Refer to Figure 7.
7. Align the exhaust as required. Starting at the front of the exhaust, tighten all
clamps, hangers and connections. Ensure each joint is secure. Do not over
tighten the Muffler Hanger Clamp; it only needs to be tight enough to prevent
it from rattling.
8. Check along the entire length of the exhaust system to ensure that there is
adequate clearance between the exhaust system and heat shields, cross members,
and body panels.
