Removal of Stock Pipe:
1. Remove the Passenger side wheel liner. Retain all hardware.
2. Remove the air intake filter.
3. Remove the hardware securing the intake filter compartment and then
remove the compartment to access the intercooler inlet tube.
Refer to Figure 1.
4. Remove the intake tube from the turbo inlet to access the stock hose on
the turbo outlet. Refer to Figure 2.
5. Using an 11mm deep socket, loosen the clamps securing the hose couplers
to the intercooler inlet and turbo outlet.
6. Remove the stock intercooler pipe.
Installation of MBRP Inc. Intercooler Pipe:
NOTE: PLEASE ENSURE THE INSIDE OF THE INTERCOOLER PIPE IS CLEAN
BEFORE INSTALLATION.
1. Place one of 2.75” Hose Clamps around the turbo and install the 2.75”
Hose Coupler onto the turbo outlet by sliding it over the outlet and under the
hose clamp. Do not fully tighten the clamp yet.
2. Place another 2.75” Hose Clamp around the intercooler inlet and install the
30-degree 3”/ 2.75” Hose Coupler by sliding the 2.75” end over the inlet and
under the hose clamp. Do not fully tighten the clamp yet.
Refer to Figure 3.
3. Install the Intercooler Pipe it by inserting each end into the appropriate
connecting hose with the remaining 3” Hose Clamp and the 2.75” Hose
Clamp over each hose.
4. Position the Intercooler Pipe and hoses to maximize clearances, and then
tighten all clamps to 75 in-lbs. Refer to Figure 4.
5. Replace the air intake, filter compartment, and air filter. Replace the
wheel liner.
